The group izna (Izna) looked back on their packed 2025 activities and foreshadowed more active activities in 2026.
izna (Mai, Bang Jimin, Coco, Yoo Sarang, Choi Jeongeun, Jeong Sebi) was formed after being chosen by viewers from 217 countries and regions worldwide through Mnet's 'I-LAND 2', and starting with their debut album 'N/a', they attempted different concepts with each album, proving limitless transformations and a broad musical spectrum with 'SIGN', 'BEEP', and their recently released mini album 'Not Just Pretty'.
In particular, last year they carried out active activities described as 'three comebacks in one year,' cementing izna's presence and achieving remarkable growth. Before their first anniversary, they surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, and in October last year they achieved their first No. 1 on a terrestrial music show (KBS2 MUSIC BANK), demonstrating a dazzling growth trajectory.
As izna expanded their global influence through such dazzling activities, they met with OSEN to mark Seollal 2026. The izna members reflected on 2025 and talked about their activities for 2026, from their expectations about celebrating their second Seollal with fans since debut.
Q. You were active with three comebacks in one year; where do you feel you have grown?
Bang Jimin: I wonder if I've ever filled a year like this in my life before. So 2025 is very meaningful. Because it contains the beginning of us, I feel like I will never forget it. I feel I've grown a lot, and I think I was able to organize how I should live going forward.
Choi Jeongeun: When I first stood on the MAMA stage there were audiences 360 degrees around me. Back then I was overwhelmed by their energy, but now I can absorb that energy and raise my tension. I think I grew in that regard.
Mai: When I watch videos from before debut or from survival days, I can feel that we became very close and that we shared everything. I'm so grateful for that environment, and I want to say thank you to the members once again.
Coco: I feel I've grown a lot performance-wise. When preparing year-end stages you have to learn dance breaks and so on quickly and memorize them. Last year if we practiced this much, this year I could do it more easily, so I felt I grew a lot. And in the process the members did so well that I felt proud every time I watched them.
Yoo Sarang: We were active in comebacks and year-end stages, and because of the pride we have in the stage and in the members, I really feel that we have become one team. We also have serious conversations about each other, and when someone has a hard time we comfort and cheer each other on, so beyond a team I feel like we've become a family.
Q. How do you want to spend 2026?
Yoo Sarang: I want to make 2026 izna's year.
Coco: This year we'll show an izna that has grown more than last year. Since our wish is to perform in front of more Nayas, we'll work hard so that wish can come true.
Choi Jeongeun: I think 2025 was a year of growth. This year I want to show izna as a grown group.
Jeong Sebi: In 2026 we will not forget to cherish and be grateful for Naya as we do now. And we value the stage more than anyone. That feeling won't change, and we'll work to be active in a healthier way.
Bang Jimin: I hope 2026 will be a year when members take better care of each other and can show more relaxed sides of themselves in various content.
Mai: In 2026 I want to show more sides of us, and since we've started to enjoy the stage more, I hope we can perform more stages and make many good memories.
