comedian Noh Yoo-jung opens up about the feelings of the time she disappeared from TV.
On the 17th, MBN released a teaser for "While you were ill" titled "She who suddenly disappeared from TV one day! The story of Noh Yoo-jung."
The teaser shows Noh Yoo-jung, who was loved as a star of a popular sitcom in the past, appearing and directly referring to her long hiatus.
Noh Yoo-jung began, "One day, overnight, everything came to a complete stop." She continued, "I washed dishes for five, six hours to earn 10,000 won," confessing the hard times of financial hardship. She calmly described the reality of having to work at a restaurant to make a living after her broadcasting activities stopped.
Her deteriorating health compounded the situation. She said, "One day fluid began to build up in my knee. I developed degenerative arthritis," and added, "I often thought about wanting to get out of this pain," evoking sympathy.
Noh Yoo-jung previously confessed about her divorce and having her smartphone hacked on MBN's "Exclusive World."
At the time she said her phone number had been stolen for criminal use and monthly bills of 2 million to 3 million won were charged, and she lamented that contacts in the broadcasting world naturally fell away. She also described it as "the worst downturn that plunged me into the abyss."
