Actor Han Guru opened up honestly about feeling relieved from holiday stress.
On the 17th, a video titled "Eve of Lunar New Year, a small live among us I live replay" was posted on the YouTube channel "Geurunikka mariya." That day, Han Guru held a live broadcast ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday and communicated directly with fans.
That day she said, "The i-dle went to my parents' house, so I'm free for a bit," showing a relaxed expression. When a fan vented, saying, "I have to go to my in-laws. This darn holiday," Han Guru empathized, saying, "The hard part about holidays is actually preparing the food, but holiday food seems so delicious."
She then added a meaningful remark. "I'm happy that my holiday stress has disappeared," she said with an embarrassed smile. She added, "In our house, after grandma and grandpa all passed away, they said, 'Let's stop making food now,' so sometimes we make only the things we really want to eat one by one or eat out. I think that's nice."
She also shared her concerns about raising children. Han Guru said, "It's not important to be handsome or pretty; they need to grow up with good character," and said, "I'm raising them like a headmaster would." However, she honestly added, "I'm not a perfect person either, so I always wonder if this is right. Still, I'm trying my best."
Asked whether discipline was scary, she laughed, saying, "It's really no joke." She cheerfully recounted, "The neighborhood kids were holding a meeting asking, 'Do you want to live at Auntie Guru's house or not?' They said it's nice because I don't force them to study but being scolded is scary, so I told them, 'I have no intention of raising you.'"
Meanwhile, Han Guru married a businessman nine years her senior in 2015 and welcomed twin boy and girl in 2017, but divorced in 2022 and has been raising her children alone since. Recently, she has been sharing a more candid daily life through her YouTube channel and continuing to communicate with fans.<
