Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman (58) is linked to a new person and name five months after her divorce.
According to local outlet TMZ, Kidman has received a romantic advance from Paul Salem (62), chairman of the board of MGM Resorts International.
Salem has publicly told acquaintances that he is interested in Kidman, and the two are reported to have met twice at group gatherings through mutual friends. However, they have not met alone, and they are not currently dating.
Paul Salem joined the MGM Resorts board in 2018 and became chairman in 2020.
He is a financial heavyweight who spent about 30 years as a key executive at the private equity firm Providence Equity, managing $50 billion (about 72 trillion won) in asset.
He graduated from Brown University and Harvard Business School (MBA), and is also a co-owner of the minor league baseball team the Worcester Red Sox. He divorced his ex-wife Navin Salem in 2021 and has four daughters.
The news comes five months after Kidman ended her 19-year marriage to husband Keith Urban in September last year. The two finalized their divorce officially in January this year.
Kidman and Urban have Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (15). According to court documents, the two waived both alimony and child support, and agreed to each bear their own attorney expense.
Under the child custody plan, Kidman is to spend 306 days a year with the children and Urban 59 days. Although both parties have monthly incomes of more than $100,000 (about 140 million won), no separate child support will be paid.
Before marrying Urban, Kidman was married to actor Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. The two adopted Isabella Jane and Connor Antony, and divorced after 11 years.
Kidman is currently officially single and is reported not to be actively dating.
Whether the next chapter for Hollywood's leading actress will lead to a relationship with a business magnate is drawing the attention of fans around the world.<
