'Harry Potter' series star Daniel Radcliffe revealed his affection for his son and candidly opened up about life as a father.
Radcliffe recently mentioned his two-year-old son in an interview with Rolling Stone, saying, "I have become an emotional person in a good way. I find myself crying more often." He added, "When my son smiles so purely and joyfully, I unexpectedly tear up," and confessed, "It's the first time I've cried seeing someone so happy."
He has been in a relationship with American actress Erin Darke since 2012 and they have been together for more than 10 years. The two met and became a couple on the set of the 2013 film 'Kill Your Darlings,' and welcomed their first son in April 2023. They have not revealed the child's name or face and are protecting their privacy.
When Radcliffe won the Tony Award for featured actor in a musical last year for 'Merrily We Roll Along,' he also did not hide his affection for his family. In his acceptance speech he said, "Erin, and our son are the greatest gifts of my life," and added, "I really love you," bringing Erin in the audience to tears.
Meanwhile, in a past interview Radcliffe said, "There will come a day when I tell my child the story of the movie where we first met," noting, "There is a scene in which we first meet and feel excited, and that itself remains like a record."
