Choa, a former member of Crayon Pop, was rushed to the hospital with bleeding three weeks before her expected delivery date.
On the 15th Choa shared an update from a hospital bed on her social account saying, "I was admitted because of contractions and sudden bleeding."
He said, "Fortunately the babies are healthy and okay, and the contractions and bleeding have been controlled, but because I'm a high-risk mother they said they will observe the progress until tomorrow morning before deciding whether I can be discharged," adding, "Heart, Cute, not yet ㅠㅠ stay a little longer and let's meet" and expressed concern.
Then Choa said, "I was so shocked earlier that my hands were shaking, my feet were trembling and tears were streaming; I was in such a state of extreme tension that I think I made a fuss at Kkeobi, but my husband stayed calm and handled everything from start to finish.. the embarrassment and apology that come after things settle ㅠㅠ my husband couldn't be admitted with me so he just delivered food and left, but I burst into tears at the letter envelope that was in the food" showing an emotional moment.
The letter contained the husband's affectionate words: "My beloved. Although you suddenly had to come to the hospital and be admitted, I think you can hold on until the due date. Don't worry too much~ You're doing so well! Fighting! I love you~" which moved her.
Relaxed, Choa said, "I arrived earlier in a state of extreme tension and cried, begging them to check first if the babies were okay. Then seeing Heart and Cute's heartbeats and them playing well on the ultrasound, tears of relief streamed down.. Mom, everything is fine so just be healthy, babies. Please pray that you can come out slowly" she prayed.
But on the next day, the 16th, Choa said, "Failed to be discharged today ㅠㅠ they said they need to observe a bit longer..! I'll try to stay strong, fighting.." reporting that she remained hospitalized. She also posted a photo proving a visit with her husband and said, "Kkeobi and I had the allotted 10-minute visit ㅠㅠ In the maternity ward a guardian can stay with the patient until the evening, but because of a shortage of rooms the guardian cannot enter and I am admitted to a private ward for patients whose guardians cannot enter," adding, "Let's eat and gain strength. Still, being in the hospital, I'm so grateful that the medical staff check carefully and kindly."
Meanwhile Choa married in 2021. While preparing for pregnancy she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, underwent surgery to preserve fertility, and became pregnant with twins through in vitro fertilization. Both twins are sons and are due to be born in March.
