Choa, formerly of Crayon Pop, was hospitalized after sudden bleeding about three weeks before delivery, prompting sympathy.
On the 15th, Choa told fans on her social media, "I was hospitalized due to contractions and sudden bleeding," surprising her fans. Fortunately, the fetuses are in good condition and the contractions and bleeding have been somewhat controlled, but she has been classified as a high-risk pregnant woman and is being monitored under the medical team's judgment.
In particular, Choa recalled rushing to the hospital, saying, "My hands were shaking and I kept crying. I cried asking them to first check whether the babies were okay," conveying the tense moment. Afterwards, she said she cried tears of relief after confirming the twins' heartbeats and movement by ultrasound.
Her husband's affectionate support was also moving. He handed her a handwritten note saying, "I think you can hold on until the due date. Don't worry too much and stay strong," and Choa expressed gratitude, saying, "I sobbed when I read the letter." She also said that due to a shortage of hospital rooms she was admitted to a delivery ward where a guardian cannot stay, so only short visits are possible.
The next day, on the 16th, she said, "I failed to be discharged, we need to watch a little longer," and she will continue receiving stabilizing treatment at the hospital for the time being.
Earlier, Choa revealed that after being diagnosed with cervical cancer she underwent fertility-preserving surgery and conceived twins via in vitro fertilization, receiving much support. She is currently 31 weeks pregnant and is scheduled to deliver two twin sons by cesarean section in early March, and she told the babies, "Not yet, let's meet a little more slowly," praying for a safe delivery.
Fans are sending support such as, "Because this pregnancy is like a miracle, I hope she stays healthy until the end," and, "May both the mother and babies be safe."
