SM Entertainment (hereinafter SM)'s global concert brand "SMTOWN LIVE" (Smtown Live) drew a spectacular curtain in Bangkok, Thailand.
SM commemorated its 30th anniversary last year by holding the "SMTOWN LIVE 2025-26" global tour, starting in Seoul in January 2025 and touring Mexico City, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, Fukuoka and ending in Bangkok, where it connected with "Pink Blood" fans around the world, and each concert became a hot topic day after day as a legendary stage that comprehensively showcased the musical heritage built over the past 30 years.
In particular, the Bangkok concert that served as the finale of this tour was held on February 14, SM's founding anniversary, at the Rajamangala National Stadium, Thailand's largest venue, and since it was the first "SMTOWN LIVE" concert held in Bangkok in about 13 years, about 62 local media outlets attended, including major Thai broadcasters Thairath TV, Workpoint TV, One31; major newspapers Dailynews, KhaoSod; main magazines Praew, Mint Magazine; and online outlets TrueID and THE STANDARD POP, underscoring SM's high stature.
Furthermore, on that day SM artists including Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, SHINee's Minho, EXO, Red Velvet (Irene, Seulgi, Joy), NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts, Seunghan & Soul, and SMTR25 gathered to deliver a diverse lineup that kept the venue's energy boiling for more than four hours.
The concert opened with Hearts2Hearts' sharply synchronized performance "FOCUS," followed by group hits including EXO's "Crown," Red Velvet's "빨간 맛 (Red Flavor)", NCT 127's "Fact Check (불가사의; 不可思議)", NCT DREAM's "Beat It Up", WayV's "白色定格 (Eternal White)", aespa's "Rich Man", RIIZE's "Fame", and NCT WISH's "poppop", and offered rich entertainment with solo stages showcasing different charms such as Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon "Retro Romance", SHINee's Minho "TEMPO", NCT's Taeyong "샤랄라 (SHALALA)", NCT's Yuta "Off The Mask", NCT's Ten "STUNNER", and Seunghan & Soul's "Waste No Time".
Also featured were new senior-junior combinations such as HyoyeonYangYangStella's "DESSERT" and HyoyeonJueun's "Second", JohnnyTaeyongMarkJenoHenderyYangYang's "Misfit", TaeyongJenoHenderyYangYangGiselle's "ZOO", and the performance stage of trainees SMTR25; the concert also included f(x)'s "Chu~♡" by Irene, Seulgi, Karina and Winter, which was revealed at the Fukuoka concert and caused an explosive reaction, and the cover stage of Saja Boys' "Soda Pop" by Jaemin, Jisung, Eunseok, Wonbin and Sion, further imprinting the special charm unique to "SMTOWN LIVE."
Finally, SM artists all took the stage together to sing "빛 (Hope from KWANGYA)", approaching the audience to make eye contact and express their gratitude, and the venue was filled with banners containing heartfelt messages for each artist, closing the global tour on a warm note.
Meanwhile, "SMTOWN LIVE" has been successfully held in major cities around the world and has been in the spotlight for achievements such as being the first Korean single-brand concert to perform in Paris, France; the first Asian singer to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York; the first overseas singer to perform at Beijing National Stadium in China; and the first large-scale K-pop concert in Dubai, solidifying its reputation as the No.1 global concert brand.
