Actor Han Ye-seul confessed she felt a reality check during a ski trip.
On the 16th, Han Ye-seul posted several photos on her social media with the caption, "I started learning to ski because I hate winter so much. They say if you come to like skiing, you'll look forward to winter."
The released photos showed Han Ye-seul enjoying skiing with her husband Ryu Seong-jae on a snowy mountain in Japan. Posing side by side on the snowfield and riding the lift still evoked a sweet married-couple atmosphere.
She went on to reveal, "Because it was my first season, I patiently practiced snowplow diligently and even practiced parallel turns wanting to come on a ski trip, but I failed."
She candidly wrote, "I was sad not to know short turns every time I came down such narrow slopes, and seeing my husband, who started learning with me, fly down even advanced courses without hesitation also gave me a reality check."
But she soon added a resolve. Han Ye-seul said, "I will also practice steadily and diligently until the day I can carve," burning with determination. She continued, "Strangely, I'm sorry to see winter ending and I'm looking forward to the next season. Happy New Year to everyone and ski safely."
Meanwhile, Han Ye-seul married Ryu Seong-jae, who is 10 years her junior and a former stage actor, in May 2024 and is continuing her newlywed life.
