Group TWS delivered excitement sweeter than chocolate to fans with a surprise event in the city.
TWS (Shin Yu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihun, Gyeongmin) held an offline event on the 15th in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong District, Seoul, to mark Valentine's Day. It was an event where the members, transformed into one-day staff at the '24/7 Chocolate House' café, handed out free chocolate to visitors.
Before the event, TWS posted various visuals on the team's official social media, including profiles of the members who became chocolate café staff, and on the day of the event (the 15th) in the afternoon they stirred curiosity by posting on the Seongdong District community platform that they would be handing out chocolate without revealing their identities.
The area around the venue was crowded with people gathered to see TWS, and a long line formed. Amid that, the members proved their passionate fan love by handing chocolates directly to 42 (the fandom name). TWS said they were pleased to be able to give chocolates directly to the 42 members to celebrate Valentine's Day and thanked those who came despite the chilly weather, adding that they hoped today's sweet memory would remain a pleasant recollection for a long time.
Meanwhile, TWS released the digital single 'Dashi Mannan Oneul' on the 9th and carried out special activities for a week. They added viewing pleasure by staging unique intro performances on music shows, such as flying paper airplanes with fans or appearing while riding bicycles.
'Dashi Mannan Oneul' expresses the fresh thrill of reunion with the clear, transparent sensibility of winter, earning praise as "TWS-style freshness that works even in winter." On its release day (the 9th) the song hit the top ranks on Melon 'Hot 100' and Bugs real-time charts, and it ranked on the daily charts (Feb. 14) of major domestic music sites including Melon, Genie Music, and Bugs. It reached No. 2 on YouTube's 'Music rising' and Instagram's 'Rising audio' charts.
