'Manitto Club' five members delivered one-of-a-kind "secret gifts" to 106 elementary school students, bringing a touching moment to living rooms.
On the 15th broadcast of MBC 'Manitto Club', Choo Sung Hoon, Ro Hong-chul, Lee Suji, Dex and Jenny formed one team to carry out the "secret manitto" mission for all 106 elementary students.
In that episode, the members decorated the auditorium entrance as grade-level vending machines and adopted a non-face-to-face gift delivery method to avoid revealing their identities. Despite the short preparation time, the members established detailed execution plans tailored to the characteristics of each grade.
First, Ro Hong-chul, in charge of first grade, prepared to create the Hong-chul garden for emotional satisfaction, and Choo Sung Hoon planned to support YouTubers and conduct physical education classes for second grade. Dex volunteered to be the helpful hand to solve needs for the third grade he was responsible for, Lee Suji, in charge of fourth grade, sought to obtain a message from Ahn Se-young for budding badminton players. Finally, Jenny, responsible for fifth grade, arranged the classroom environment and produced video letters and lucky charms.
The mission was successful. Although there were some clumsy moments in the process of delivering gifts from the vending machines, they instead created warmth with very human moments. Especially, the delivery of an encouragement message from national badminton player Ahn Se-young was made possible with Jenny's help. Jenny contacted Ahn Se-young's management directly to explain the program's purpose, and moved by it, Ahn Se-young sent a video message, completing the mission for the fourth grade students.
Meanwhile, that episode also showed Choo Sung Hoon and Ro Hong-chul taking an impromptu 12-hour trip to Osaka, Japan. Ro Hong-chul revealed that he had a traffic accident on the way to the airport, which shocked viewers, but fortunately there were no health problems, and he enjoyed a meaningful trip to Japan with Choo Sung Hoon.
