'Heart Signal 4' cast member Kim Ji-young complained of poor condition after pushing through her wedding while pregnant.
On the 13th, a video titled "I only understood my mother after becoming pregnant" was uploaded to Kim Ji-young's YouTube channel.
That day Kim Ji-young packed luggage for a trip. She said, "The wedding was held the day before yesterday and today is two days later. I'm ajumma now. I greet you as an ajumma for the first time."
She went on, "We are not going on a honeymoon. I thought going in this condition would make it worse. I thought the trip wouldn't be fun and I'd be tired. So we are planning to go to Kyoto for about five nights and six days in April, and my husband went to work the very next day. He's an amazing person," she said, explaining that they postponed their honeymoon.
But Kim Ji-young confessed, "I'm going on a trip with my mother." She said, "Actually I do want to go somewhere. Before I got pregnant I used to travel a lot. I felt self-conscious. I hesitated to tell my husband. So just two days after getting married I gently asked, 'Shall I go?' and he said he'd gladly let me go, so I'm going."
She said she plans to go to Gangwon Province with her mother, and added, "The reason we chose Gangneung is that it's not extremely far from Seoul. It's about two and a half hours away, and it's the off season now so it probably won't be too crowded and we can relax, so we decided on it."
In particular, Kim Ji-young also reported unstable health after the wedding. She said, "The wedding was more of a strain than I expected. Yesterday I just ate and slept, ate and slept; I was like that all day, and I also went to exercise. I got personal training and my condition was really bad. So I thought, 'Ah, I pushed myself too hard,' and decided to rest. More than 1,000 people attended the wedding. It was understandable that it was tiring," she said of her difficulties.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-young first gained recognition after appearing on Channel A's Heart Signal 4 in 2023, and afterward appeared on various variety shows. She announced her premarital pregnancy and marriage last month, and on the 1st of this month married Yoon Soo-young, six years older, the founder of Trevari, Korea's largest paid reading club community.
