Actor Kim Gyuri parted with a companion cat she had lived with for 22 years.
On the 15th, Kim Gyuri posted a long message on her social media saying, "I apologize first for sharing this news just before the nation's major holiday 'Seol'."
She said, "It's nothing other than... my companion cat "Moya" has finished a long journey and returned to the cat star. I hope all the journeys we shared were joyful," and added sadly, "She was a child who shared 22 years with me, a family member and friend who shared half of my life, my child."
She continued, "I confess that during all those long years of suffering because of the blacklist, it was because Moya was with me that I was able to endure. I didn't expect the parting to come so suddenly."
Finally she said, "Moya~ little one~ thank you. I'm sorry, I love you... I'll see you off well."
Meanwhile, Kim Gyuri previously shared the news that she won a plaintiff's verdict in last year's damages lawsuit over the cultural blacklist incident.
