Chef Jo Seohyung criticized a new hire on their fourth day and was scolded.
On the 15th episode of KBS2's "Bosses' ears are donkey ears", the scenes of chefs Jo Seohyung and Park Garam holding a collaboration dinner show were depicted.
That day Jo Seohyung looked at Park Garam's team, which coordinated on its own without being told, and admitted, "(Park Garam's team) worked smoothly on their own. I have to tell them each and every thing. I was a bit jealous," he confessed.
Later Jo Seohyung began prep with a new hire on their fourth day. He instructed them to cut the carrot to the correct size, but he stiffened his expression when Park Garam said, "I don't think the thickness matches."
The new employee confessed, "Even with Korean food, and given my lack of hands-on experience with cooking, trying to do a pop-up event probably made me mess up more. I broke out in cold sweat and was very nervous."
Jo Seohyung said, "I understood since it was a task they hadn't done before, but I wish they had paid a bit more attention. In the end, we had to slice the shiitake mushrooms again from the very beginning."
But seeing the new hire breaking into a cold sweat at Jo Seohyung's sharp reaction, ATEEZ's San empathized, saying, "What can we do.. my heart hurts so much." Kim Sook also expressed sympathy, saying, "They look a bit pitiful, right?" However, while watching the screen Jo Seohyung suddenly pressed a button, drawing attention. Kim Sook asked in puzzlement, "Why are you pressing it?" and Jo Seohyung angrily said, "I'm angry because our friend seems so incompetent."
Hearing this, Yang Jun-hyuk said, "It's only been four days, so what," and Park Myung Soo also jabbed, "Did you do well in four days? You shouldn't act like that."
Kim Sook asked, "Has Mr. San completely lost affection?" because not long ago he had expressed a desire to work at Jo Seohyung's restaurant. But San said, "I also empathized with the new person too much," reporting that he had completely turned his back.
Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Mr. Yang Jun-hyuk, if you were an employee of boss Jo Seohyung, could you do it?" and Yang Jun-hyuk shook his head, saying, "I don't think I could." However, when Jun Hyun-moo added, "But what if we give you 10 million won?", Yang Jun-hyuk said, "If you give me 10 million won I'll try hard," prompting laughter.
