"Manitto Club" Choo Sung Hoon, Ro Hong-chul, Lee Suji, Dex, and Jenny gave elementary school students an unforgettable day.
On the 15th episode of MBC "Manitto Club," following the impromptu trip of Choo Sung Hoon and Ro Hong-chul, the members united as one team for the "secret Manitto" mission.
Ro Hong-chul's Manitto identity was exposed, ending the individual Manittos, and Choo Sung Hoon proposed an impromptu trip to Japan to Ro Hong-chul. Ro Hong-chul, who arrived at the airport again four hours after the headquarters meeting, said he had been in a traffic accident, which surprised people. Fortunately he was not injured, but Ro Hong-chul, who was still flustered, met Choo Sung Hoon and headed to Tokyo, saying he wanted something sweet to eat and bursting with anticipation.
Because Ro Hong-chul and Choo Sung Hoon's trip was impromptu, they ran into obstacles. They had no train or plane tickets to go to Hokkaido, and although they tried to go to Fukuoka, it did not work out. Ten hours after leaving Korea, the two arrived in Osaka and, after moving through streets full of Choo Sung Hoon's memories, reached a regular okonomiyaki restaurant. After an astonishing 12 hours, Choo Sung Hoon and Ro Hong-chul sat in the restaurant chairs and could not contain their admiration after their first meal. Choo Sung Hoon's gifts did not end there. After an emotional okonomiyaki mukbang, Ro Hong-chul was moved by Choo Sung Hoon's thoughtfulness when they visited a 45-year-old yakiniku restaurant.
After the impromptu trip, the members gathered at headquarters to check the secret mission. Jenny moved Dex by giving him a gift bundle she had not delivered earlier, and because the first Manitto avatars were "animals," the members gifted each other animal plush key rings, creating a heartwarming scene.
With the individual Manitto missions ending in anticlimax, the production team drastically lowered the difficulty to C and delivered a secret mission. This time, instead of individually, Choo Sung Hoon, Lee Suji, Ro Hong-chul, Dex, and Jenny formed one team to create a gift-like day for all 106 students at an elementary school. Arriving at the activity site first to create a gift-like day without revealing their identities, the members checked the atmosphere.
With only one day to prepare, the members put their heads together and agreed to buy gifts by grade and then deliver customized gifts from vending machines. After assigning grades, Jenny decided to decorate the classroom prettily with a video message and lucky charms for the fifth graders. Dex, in charge of the third graders, decided to become the students' loud cheerleader, and Lee Suji, in charge of the fourth graders, sought a message from Ahn Se-young for children who enjoy badminton. Choo Sung Hoon, responsible for the second graders, decided to help little YouTubers and lead exercise classes, and Ro Hong-chul, responsible for the first graders, decided to create a "Hong-chul garden" after identifying students who especially wanted to be happy.
With the auditorium entrance turned into grade-specific vending machines and practice finished, the members' faces were full of tension. Jenny said, "I faced the biggest crisis of my life here," and the other members busily moved to match the names of the students in their assigned grades with the gifts and deliver them quickly. The first students to arrive were first graders; despite the shoddiness, Lee Suji and Ro Hong-chul succeeded in delivering the gifts.
For a moment they were flustered by the sudden rush of students, but the members pulled themselves together and continued acting like vending machines. After handing out all the gifts, Ro Hong-chul opened the Hong-chul garden prepared for the first graders and gave them a special day. Also, after the Manitto members left, Jenny's encouragement message was revealed in the fifth grade classroom, and at lunchtime Ahn Se-young's message was played in the cafeteria. Jenny played a big role in obtaining Ahn Se-young's message, which had been a hurdle. Through Jenny, they contacted Ahn Se-young's manager, and Ahn Se-young sympathized with the cause and sent a message that moved people.
