In the released video, Chef Yoon Na-ra, who drew attention by appearing as 'Yoon Jumo' on Culinary Class Wars 2, appeared as a guest.
That day Chef Yoon revealed that she graduated from the film department of the Seoul Institute of the Arts and confessed, "I loved movies. I liked French films," and Jung Jae-hyung said, "I heard you entered the film department thinking someone was an actor and were disappointed. Was it Koo Kyo-hwan?"
Then Chef Yoon said, "That's right. I went to school with senior Koo. I also took classes with director Byun Sung-hyun," mentioning an unexpected alumnus that drew attention.
Chef Yoon, who said she majored in film and later moved into performance planning, said, "I did it for about seven years. In my final year I went to New York for an internship. So it shifted to the performance side at La MaMa, an experimental theater. I lived there and interned for about six months. I think that was when I opened my eyes to food culture. I went in 2007, and there were renowned restaurants from around the world. I ate all kinds of delicious things there," she laughed.
She continued, "I was always cooking at home, and then I joined the local food team run by the Seoul Metropolitan Government as a sort of youth activist. At that time I wanted to do something different. Since I had done performance planning, I promoted local food. But the people I worked with said they were starting a business and there was no chef. Because there was no one to cook, I started cooking in Mangwon-dong for eight months, and that's how I began cooking," explaining how she entered the restaurant industry.
