Singer Tei revealed the episode hidden behind his trademark bread hat.
On the 13th, which was yesterday, on KBS 2TV The Seasons - 10cm's Sseudam Sseudam, Tei recounted an anecdote involving the bread hat, prompting laughter.
On that day, MC Kwon Jung-yeol said, "The bread hat is so ingrained that rumors circulated. There were even talks that he went on stage without washing his hair," and Tei playfully responded, "Are you saying I wear it because I didn't wash my hair rather than because it looks cool?" which turned the venue into a sea of laughter.
Tei then explained the unexpected background of the bread hat's creation. He said, "Because I was a one-person agency, I had to release the album in January, but because I submitted it for review early, I had to prepare about two weeks earlier than planned. I was on a diet then, and instinctively thought that that day was the only day I could eat ramen."
Tei recalled, "I turned on the gas stove to eat ramen. There was a constant gas smell but the flame wouldn't ignite. Then suddenly the igniter exploded and the gas caught fire," and added that at that moment his bangs were singed, which made people laugh.
He added, "At first the stylist said, 'This can't be saved,' but they told me to try on a hat they used, so I wore it as it was," explaining that the bread hat that came about by chance became his trademark.
Meanwhile, Tei has met the public with music that showcases delicate sensibility, such as 'Same Pillow', 'Love Leaves a Scent', 'Love Is One', and 'After Breaking Up'. He is currently actively communicating with listeners as the DJ of the radio show 'Good Morning FM, this is Tei'.<
