World-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay expressed his thoughts on the Beckham family's conflict. He diagnosed that Brooklyn Beckham has experienced public discord with his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, in the process of "desperately trying to forge his own path" after marrying his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
In a recent interview with British outlet The Sun, Gordon Ramsay said, "When you fall in love, you can't see ahead. That's why there is the saying 'love is blind,'" calling it a "difficult situation." He added, "Brooklyn wants to stand on his own two feet. He wants to go his own way, and that should be respected."
However, he added, "He should not forget where he came from" and "he must understand that there may come a time when his parents are not by his side." He drew attention by saying of Victoria Beckham in particular, "She cannot help but be upset. She has the right to be."
Gordon Ramsay was among those who attended Brooklyn's 2022 wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. At the time, Brooklyn claimed that Victoria danced "inappropriately" at the wedding. In response, Ramsay emphasized, "I know how much David loves Brooklyn 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
Last December, Brooklyn unfollowed most of the family's accounts on social media, and in January this year he publicly took a hardline stance saying "I have no intention of reconciling with my family," bringing the conflict to the surface. He alleged that his parents have controlled the family's narrative through the media and tried to ruin his relationship with his wife.
Still, Gordon Ramsay said, "Time will ultimately heal everything," and predicted, "David will surely find a way to repair his relationship with his son." He added, "Both of them have been wonderful parents who have poured enormous energy into their children," and noted, "It was the parents who saved Brooklyn from difficulties on multiple occasions."
Finally, Ramsay advised Brooklyn, "I hope you take some time to reflect on yourself," saying, "You are half your mother's, half your father's. You're a really great young man." He added, "Someday you will realize that your parents did more for your life than anyone else."
