Park Sang-myeon said he went through a difficult time because of rumors that he was a 'marijuana actor'.
On the 14th, MBN 'Kim Joo-ha's Day & Night' (hereinafter Day & Night) featured Park Sang-myeon.
After the sitcom 'Three Friends', Park Sang-myeon enjoyed box office success with 'Let's Play, Dalma' and 'Gangster's Wife.' Park Sang-myeon explained, "The joke 'Please call me Park Cheon-man' came out as an article, and that's how I came to be called that."
Park Sang-myeon said, "In 2002 I shot two films as the lead. I filmed 'I Can't Live After Being Robbed' and 'Arrogant Only Child.' That year a slump hit all at once. I reflected a lot then. I started again and sharpened myself."
Afterward, Park Sang-myeon overcame the slump and returned to popularity with the drama 'King of Baking, Kim Tak-gu', but he said he became embroiled in a sudden rumor.
Park Sang-myeon explained the situation at the time: "Someone said someone used marijuana and they named actor P. The initials and filmography were similar to mine. When I looked quietly, it was serious. Those people didn't even reveal real names. At the broadcasting station they thought I would be arrested soon."
He also revealed a grievance: "In the end, I heard I was dropped from the (award) nominees. When I searched online, everyone thought it was me."
Park Sang-myeon added, "Afterward, it was revealed who P was. Fortunately, after two years had passed, they slowly started casting again. That was very painful."
