A tale of Ji Sang-ryeol's brush with life and death is being reported.
On the 14th episode of KBS 2TV Mr. House Husband season 2 (hereinafter Mr. House Husband), Ji Sang-ryeol, who visited a temple stay, undertakes a deathbed experience confronting his own "death."
In that episode, Ji Sang-ryeol's shocking account of experiencing life and death is revealed, leaving the studio stunned. The brother and sister-in-law who came to pay their respects collapse and sob in front of Ji Sang-ryeol's memorial photo, saying, "Wouldn't it be too pitiful if he goes like this?", and even MC Eun Ji-won, who watched the scene, reddens his eyes, making the scene solemn.
In the setting of facing death, Ji Sang-ryeol explodes with longing for his deceased parents. He confesses the backstory that he always kept and never removed his father's watch, saying, "When I go to the other world, the first people I want to see are my parents." Especially while starting to say the last words he would like to convey if he met his parents again, Ji Sang-ryeol ultimately becomes choked up and makes the atmosphere heavy.
In the following tea conversation with the monk, he makes a candid confession. Mentioning his relationship with Shin Bo-ram, who is 16 years his junior and with whom he is currently maintaining a good relationship, he said, "I want to see this person by my side always," and "I want to be an eternal companion." He particularly expresses a strong will to be a "new groom in his 50s," even asking about an appropriate time for marriage.
