Singer GREE brought laughter with an episode that recalled his 'national nephew' days.
On the 13th, which was yesterday, KBS 2TV The Seasons - 10cm's Ssedam Ssedam featured GREE (GREE), KAI (KAI), Tei (TEI), and Rumble Fish, who grants stages and talks.
That day MC Kwon Jung-yeol asked GREE, "How old are you this year," and GREE answered, "I'm turning 29 this year." In response Kwon Jung-yeol said, "I think the whole nation feels that way, but since we've seen him since he was a baby, it feels like we raised him," which drew sympathetic agreement.
GREE smiled and recounted an unexpected situation. He said, "There was a ridiculous situation where some people say, 'Wow, he grew up well. I feel like I raised him,'" and added, "If you go into those people's SNS accounts, they're high school students. They're younger than me but say they raised me," which turned the scene into a sea of laughter.
In response Kwon Jung-yeol replied wittily, "That could be. They raised him in their hearts. Even a high school student can play a part in raising GREE," and GREE immediately responded, "Thank you for raising me," adding a warm laugh.
It was a moment when GREE's growth narrative of standing before the public since childhood and the affection of viewers who watched over him naturally exchanged.<
