You can see BTS's new world tour on the big screen.
According to HYBE Music Group label BigHit Music, the performances of 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' held in Goyang on Apr. 11 and Tokyo on Apr. 18 will be available via live viewing (Live Viewing). Live viewing is a relay service in which a large number of viewers gather in one place to watch concerts or sports events together.
BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour of 82 shows in 34 cities starting Apr. 9 at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex. The Goyang concert, which opens the tour, and the Tokyo concert, the starting point of the global schedule, have drawn strong interest from music fans. Through live viewing, the world can enjoy the start of the tour together.
This live viewing will take place at more than 3,500 theaters in 75 countries/regions worldwide. Due to time differences, some will be delayed broadcasts, and the number of countries/regions and theaters is expected to increase. Domestically, it will be shown at the three major multiplexes CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on the 25th.
BTS sold out the 41 North American and European tour dates, including Goyang, at high speed. They will hold solo concerts as the first Korean singers at Tampa Raymond James Stadium, El Paso Sun Bowl Stadium, Stanford Stadium, Foxborough Gillette Stadium, Baltimore M&T Bank Stadium, Arlington AT&T Stadium, and Belgium's King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels and Germany's Munich Allianz Arena. At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, they recorded the highest single-show seat occupancy rate in history.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their fifth studio album ARIRANG at 1 p.m. on Mar. 20. The album, which captures "BTS of today," is expected to resonate with music fans around the world. From the release date through Apr. 12, they will hold BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL. As an experiential content combining music and media, installation productions harmonizing with the cityscape will be presented across Seoul.
