'Crash2' Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, Heo Sung-tae, Lee Ho-cheol and Moon Hee race even more hotly and thrillingly alongside new face Park Ji-sung.
ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Crash2: Road of Fury' (directed by Park Joon-woo, written by Oh Soo-jin, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by ASTORY) is the second story of 'Crash,' which aired to popularity in 2024. With the fresh subject of investigating traffic crimes, the satisfying team play of the Traffic Crime Investigation team (T.C.I) that brings road villains to justice, and speed-filled car chase action that amplifies the genre pleasure, it received favorable reviews. Ratings also made a splash at the time of airing, ranking second in ENA drama history.
Returning amid hot anticipation, 'Crash2' follows the Namgangseo Traffic Crime Investigation team T.C.I as it is reborn as a metropolitan investigative unit under the National Office of Investigation (NOI) and solves nationwide traffic crime cases. A relentless investigative action story that rounds up more cunning and larger-scale violent traffic criminals without brakes is expected to once again thoroughly thrill viewers.
Above all, anticipation is ignited by the fact that the production team and the hitmakers who sparked the hyper-reality investigative drama syndrome in season 1 have reunited. Director Park Joon-woo, known for his distinctive direction that adds striking action and sensuous mise-en-scène in works like 'Crash1' and 'Taxi Driver1,' and writer Oh Soo-jin, who sharply pinpoints absurdities and crafts characters full of humanity, will once again create synergy. In addition, ASTORY, which completed major hit works such as 'Crash1,' 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo,' the 'Kingdom' series and 'Signal,' takes on production to ensure completeness.
As much as the evolved violent crime cases and scale, T.C.I's efforts and team play that beat down road villains also level up. Lee Min-ki returns as section chief Cha Yeon-ho, who solves cases with a doggedness that determines causes more accurately than AI and does not miss even the smallest clue.
