Bae In Hyuk perfectly portrayed Sun Tae-hyeong in the tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama Our Universe (directed by Lee Hyun-seok and Jung Yeo-jin, written by Sujin and Shin I-hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Scene&Studio Co., Ltd.) that aired on the 12th.
Our Universe is a rom-com about in-laws whose relationship is tangled from their first meeting and who, overnight, end up raising a 20-month-old nephew, "Uju", leading to a series of chaotic cohabitation events.
In that episode, the truth behind the incident in which Tae-hyeong (played by Bae In Hyuk) and Hyunjin (played by Roh Jeong-Eui) woke up in the same bed was revealed, arousing interest. In particular, after that incident Tae-hyeong began to see Hyunjin not as an in-law but as a woman, bringing sweet excitement to viewers' living rooms.
Tae-hyeong recalled a drunken Hyunjin confessing memories of her older sister, and showed sweetness by cooking kimchi pancakes she said she used to eat with her sister on rainy days. Starting with the web movie Love Buzz, Bae In Hyuk appeared in the web dramas Yeonnamdong Kiss Scene and XX, leaving an impression with his warm visuals and steady acting. He then made his presence felt in various works such as My Roommate is a Gumiho, Why Oh Soo-jae?, Cheer Up, Yeollyeobakssi contracted marriage chronicle, and Check In Hanyang, cementing his position as a representative male actor of his 20s.
