Platform album NEMO Album developer NemozLab (CEO Jeon Su-jin) has signed an agreement with major Japanese talent agency LDH JAPAN to release an agency-exclusive app LDH x NEMOZ and launch affiliated artist ØMI's mini jewel CD key holder. NemozLab has continuously expanded into the Japanese market by releasing NEMO albums and physical goods combined with digital content for artists from TV ASAHI's FRUITS ZIPPER and for artists affiliated with the large talent agency HORIPRO. Based on know-how gained from building agency-exclusive apps for major agencies in Korea, releasing albums and running services, the LDH x NEMOZ app being released this time is significant as the first platform album–exclusive app with an overseas agency. Starting with this agreement, NemozLab plans to accelerate expansion into global markets including Japan, North America and Europe.
The album being released this time is by ØMI (Omi, Tosaka Hiroomi), a vocalist of J SOUL BROTHERS and the creative officer of LDH JAPAN, and one of Japan's top artists. Since beginning solo activities in 2017, his You, produced by BTS's SUGA, received great global love and became a hot topic in Korea. The agency LDH is a large talent agency that represents many popular Japanese artists, including EXILE and Sandaime J SOUL BROTHER.
Since its founding in 2021, NemozLab has pioneered the platform album market for global K-pop fandoms by introducing the "NEMO album," where music is authenticated via NFC and QR codes and listened to in the NEMOZ app. It collaborates with more than 70 major entertainment agencies at home and abroad, including SM, YG, JYP, FNC, CJ ENM and Starship, and has released nearly 9 million albums to fandoms in 240 countries worldwide. With an overseas membership ratio reaching 80%, it was designed from the start targeting the global market with UI and UX, multilingual services and album sizes the size of photocard, enabling rapid growth.
Having attracted investment from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) in December 2025, NemozLab, recognized for its technology and growth potential, will concentrate on advancing into the Japanese and global markets with stable funding.
NemozLab CEO Jeon Su-jin said, "Because Japan's music market is still in an early stage of digital transition, NemozLab's explosive growth is expected in Japan's music and subculture markets, which are larger than Korea's. Starting with the launch of the Japan LDH–exclusive app and the NEMO album, we will focus fully on expanding Korea's platform album system globally," she said, commenting on the launch of the NEMO album and the exclusive app.
