'I Live Alone' will feature 'Little Tiger' chef Kim Si-hyun heading to a hunting ground.
Today (13) on MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone', the third episode of the 'Let's ride the rainbow horse' special will reveal the flavorful daily life of 'Little Tiger' chef Kim Si-hyun.
Chef Kim Si-hyun heads to Gyeongdong Market, the hunting ground of 'Little Tiger.' Pulling a wheeled shopping cart, a hunting essential, his sharp gaze as he searches for game among countless ingredients captures attention.
He said, "If there are herbs abroad, Korea has namul," showing his exceptional love for namul. Having showcased his own namul dishes on 'Culinary Class Wars 2', he sets out to hunt seasonal namul in front of his regular namul shop.
Chef Kim Si-hyun says, "Now is the period most optimized for namul," and demonstrates how to choose namul, sharing secrets for cooking based on their characteristics and flavors, revealing his profile as a 'namul expert.'
In the released photos, Chef Kim Si-hyun is shown discovering a namul ingredient he had never seen before and emitting a 'bright-eyed' look that draws attention. Afterwards, he immerses himself in researching new namul ingredients at 'Little Tiger House,' his home and workspace. Fans are also looking forward to the release of the cooking notes he recorded during his research.
Also revealed is footage of Chef Kim Si-hyun preparing housewarming dishes. Starting with pot-cooked rice, he completes the 'Little Tiger-style housewarming spread' with pot-cooked rice, stew and four kinds of namul as his secret dishes. Then Chef Kim Si-hyun says, "This is K-Dubai jjondeuk cookie (Dubai jjondeuk cookie)," as he prepares the 'this' he made himself, whose identity reportedly surprised the Rainbow members, raising curiosity.
Recently, 'I Live Alone' has been embarrassed by the departures of core members Park Na-rae and SHINee's Key, especially Park Na-rae's exit. With few female regulars to begin with, calls to find a new female cast member are growing louder.
