The subculture-focused label Grim Production (GRIM Production) virtual idol group WISHes is showing their first new costumes since debut.
WISHes (Isla, 므므네) will hold a special broadcast on Naver streaming platform CHZZK on Feb. 14 for Valentine's Day to deliver a special thrill to fans and will reveal their first new costumes.
WISHes is a two-member virtual idol group centered on Live2D activities that has grown while consistently communicating with fans through various content activities such as original music releases and a 3D showcase since debuting on Nov. 2024.
In particular, this new costume reveal is the first official costume update since debut, and it is expected to herald a new visual change while showing an even more expanded charm unique to WISHes.
Timed for Valentine's Day, the new costumes, which add a kitschy sensibility to a lovely mood, emphasize WISHes' bright, energetic identity and maximize each member's charm. The silhouettes of the new costumes were first revealed to fan communities and social media on the 7th, and they proved to be a hot topic even before the official reveal by eliciting enthusiastic fan reactions such as "Finally the first new costumes," "Something big is coming," and "Isla will be hip, and 므므네 will be innocent."
To commemorate the new costume reveal, WISHes will also hold a special broadcast. After each member reveals their new costume in individual broadcasts in sequence, the show will continue with a joint WISHes broadcast, and because events and unreleased content for fans are prepared for the broadcast day, anticipation is high.
Limited-edition merchandise will also be released. The limited-edition merchandise is based on the new costume concept visuals and has been prepared as a variety of product lines reflecting fans' tastes. Merchandise can be viewed on the fandom-based community platform Fanding Grim Production shop page starting immediately after the new costume reveal on Feb. 14.
Grim Production said, "This new costume reveal is a meaningful occasion in which WISHes, who have continued active activities since debut, greet fans with a new look," adding, "We hope it will be an enjoyable time along with the special gift prepared for Valentine's Day."
Meanwhile, the new costumes, the first WISHes have shown since debut, will be revealed in sequence on Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. on Isla's CHZZK channel, at 3:30 p.m. on 므므네's CHZZK channel, and at 4 p.m. a joint broadcast with Isla and 므므네 will be held on WISHes' CHZZK channel.
