On the 15th (Sun) broadcast of 'Sadanggwi', David Lee, known as the 'meat gangster', will reveal his American wife Rosa. Wife Rosa draws attention with film actress–like beauty. David Lee shocks viewers with a romantic 'wife-adoring' side completely different from his charismatic demeanor at the restaurant. David Lee shows a beaming smile he's never shown before with eyes dripping honey and repeatedly says "you're so pretty," pouring out excessive(?) displays of affection and aegyo in daily life. In contrast to the way a single word in the kitchen makes all the staff tense, Kim Sook is left speechless in shock, saying, "He doesn't smile often, but he had that side too?"
Meanwhile, David Lee reveals the fateful first meeting with his wife Rosa. He said, "We happened to meet on the street, and the next day Rosa came to our restaurant," recounting a love-at-first-sight story. David Lee added, "I kept serving dishes to Rosa, who came as a customer," and "the head chef cheered, 'keep sending it until you get an answer,'" drawing laughter. Eventually Rosa responded with a cocktail, and that connection has continued to the present.
When David Lee asked about his first impression, Rosa recalled with a smile, "You were funny. You kept giving me food as a service," which again brought out David Lee's gummy smile. When Rosa asked, "I think I got three complimentary dishes. Why did you give me service?" David Lee immediately replied, "Because you're pretty," creating newlywed-like moments that ignite simply from eye contact.
Until now, David Lee had said, "Even if someone is a star, there is no special service different from regular customers," but the confession that the service relay continued endlessly in the face of love reportedly made everyone gasp.
