In an interview conducted alongside the photo shoot, Kim Go-eun talked about playing a 30-something Yumi who has become a star writer and is about to appear in Yumi's Cells 3, released for the first time in four years, saying, "I imagined freely what life would be like after Yumi became a successful writer. I wondered, 'What attitude would a woman in her mid-to-late 30s Yumi have toward the world?' Even as time passes, there are still parts of her that are lovable, and clumsy aspects hide here and there," expressing her affection. She added, "On set, I think I was called Yumi more often than Go-eun. I worked hard with that pleasant familiarity."
On how to live each day doing her best, Kim Go-eun said, "In difficult moments, I often repeat to myself the phrase 'this too shall pass.' Some days feel overwhelmingly hard, but then you sleep and wake up and things are refreshed. If worrying and planning excessively for the future made things happen exactly as planned, that would be natural, but life is not easy to predict. So I think it's important to just get through today well and live the day happily."
When asked what appears most beautiful to her now, Kim Go-eun said, "People who live their lives faithfully. I always think about the people who passed through this period and this time ahead of me. Then I feel that our 'now' is truly a brilliant time. So I want to complete all the projects scheduled for this year safely and well."
