'Chagane' actor Cha Seung-won's masterful acting fooled the youngest Danny Goo, who collapsed and burst into tears.
On the 12th episode aired on tvN's 'Chagane', the story continued of the Chagane organization traveling to Tokyo, Japan, on a business trip for a spicy job.
Brothers plotted a hidden-camera prank to tease Danny Goo when he returned from going out. Cha Seung-won said, "Danny, shall we try a hidden-camera prank?" and added, "Let's slowly set the mood," foreshadowing a full-scale staged situation.
A short while later, when Danny Goo returned home, Cha Seung-won created a chilly atmosphere and snapped, "Are you sane?" Startled, Danny Goo checked nervously, "Why? Did you finish quickly?" but Cha Seung-won delivered a passionate angry performance, "Why did you go out, what time is it now? What on earth are you doing? I came here to work."
When Cha Seung-won continued to pressure him, asking, "Don't you want to do it?" Danny Goo, saying he got lost on the way, repeatedly apologized, "I'm so sorry," and didn't know what to do. As the mood grew tense, Cha Seung-won soon revealed it was a hidden camera, saying, "Okay, got it. Since you know, go to bed and go out again tomorrow, baby. Can you stop now?"
Only then realizing it was a prank, Danny Goo seemed to lose strength in his legs, collapsed to the floor and burst into tears. He wiped his tears miserably, saying, "I'm going to cry, hyungnim," then confessed, "Don't prank me like this, you do this to me, I'm sensitive. I thought I shouldn't even go to Korea and should go to the U.S. I thought, 'Korea is finished.' I thought Korea was finished because you don't treat me kindly," evoking both pity and laughter.
