'HYBE-latin boy group' Santos Bravos (SANTOS BRAVOS)'s second single 'Kawasaki (가와사키)' music video was released on the team's official YouTube channel on the 13th.
The 'Kawasaki' music video starts with the rough engine sound of a bike racing across the desert. Then the five members who appear in all-black styling (Dru, Alejandro, Caue, Gabee, Kenes) perform intense synchronized choreography against a metallic silver-toned studio backdrop. The members' performance, which expresses the motion of riding a motorbike and pulling the throttle hard, is attractive. Here, the motorcycle wheels speeding forward and the flying sand dust overlap, maximizing the sense of speed the song possesses.
A striking scene comes as the studio wall set up in the middle of the desert collapses, making the space where Santos Bravos stood into a stage itself. The directing duo 91 Rules, who directed works for pop stars Camila Cabello and Khalid, took the megaphone for the music video and sensorially captured the passionate energy 'Kawasaki' holds.
Released on the 30th of last month, 'Kawasaki' is a club-style dance song that blends Latin urban sound with the distinctive rhythms of Brazilian music. The lyrics, which liken the explosive excitement of falling in love to a racing motorbike engine, are striking. The lyrics weave Spanish, English and Portuguese together with the members' diverse vocal colors, earning a good response from global fans.
According to HYBE Latin America, the cumulative total views of various social media contents created using the 'Kawasaki' audio reach 50 million. The performance video released along with the audio has also surpassed 4.2 million views on YouTube and continues to rise steadily.
Support from HYBE Music Group label artists also draws attention. TOMORROW X TOGETHER, &TEAM (&TEAM), BOYNEXTDOOR (BOYNEXTDOOR), TWS (TWS), ILLIT (ILLIT), KATSEYE (KATSEYE), CORTIS (CORTIS) and others have joined the so-called 'Kawasaki challenge,' each team reinterpreting the song's addictive chorus choreography with their own personality and energy.
Santos Bravos debuted in Mexico last October after a reality series of the same name under HYBE's 'multi-home, multi-genre' strategy. They are nominated in the new male artist of the year category at the '2026 Premio Lo Nuestro' major Latin music awards, to be held in Miami on the 19th.
Santos Bravos, who are scheduled to present the first stage of 'Kawasaki' at this awards show, plan to appear in succession as a 'next-generation Latin pop star' at Colombia's Estereo Picnic on March 20, Mexico's Tecate Pal Norte in Monterrey on March 29, and Guatemala's Empire Music Festival on May 1.
