Pyeng Hyun-sook, who has now established herself as the owner of a popular restaurant people line up for, revealed she suffered repeated business failures in the past, and an anecdote about Choi Yangrak's affair cafe was mentioned.
Earlier, Pyeng Hyun-sook confessed on a show with a bittersweet laugh, "People think I went bankrupt after running seven or eight businesses. It was far more than that." She tried various industries starting with a pottery shop in Gangnam, then clothing stores, restaurants and others, but said she experienced failure each time.
She said the family restaurant she operated in the mountains of Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, was nicknamed "affair cafe" for unexpected reasons, which surprised listeners. She said, "It started as a family dining space, but because the location was secluded, many cheating couples came," and recounted the situation at the time.
Meanwhile, her husband Choi Yangrak added a related episode. In a video on the YouTube channel "Yangrak 1st street" released on the 11th, he recalled building a hanok in Yangsu-ri and running a cafe in the past. Explaining his connection with guest Jo Kwan-woo who appeared on the show that day, he said, "For the cafe atmosphere I played 'From the flower garden' and 'The swamp' all day."
Choi Yangrak went on, "Our cafe especially had a lot of cheating couples. They really liked Jo Kwan-woo's songs," and told the story with a joking tone. He added, "Normal married couples greet you cheerfully at the entrance, but cheating couples awkwardly watch around and move to the corner," drawing laughter.
After repeated failures, Pyeng Hyun-sook has now succeeded in a blockbuster restaurant. Her tumultuous business ventures are attracting attention once again.<
