Gangnam set out to 'collect rest stop stamps' ahead of Lunar New Year travel.
A video titled "Must-watch for Lunar New Year travel! Collecting stamps at 13 rest stops nationwide" was recently released on the YouTube channel "Neighborhood friend Gang Nami."
Gangnam said, "I was originally going to go with Daesung, but his throat wasn't in good condition so he said let's do it next time. So I ended up doing it alone," and promised a solo mukbang tour.
The first stop was Hanadream rest stop. As he was about to pay, he showed embarrassment saying, "My hands are frozen so my card won't come out," creating laughter with a small incident in the cold.
At Seohanam rest stop, he discovered a donut brand his wife, Lee Sang-hwa, likes and generously paid, saying, "It's what Sang-hwa likes. It's on me." When the production staff asked about coffee, he gladly paid and joked, "Today is total binge eating."
Arriving at Cheoin rest stop, Gangnam was surprised by its size, saying, "It feels like a department store," and at Gosamhosu rest stop he admired facilities that reminded him of a large supermarket. Especially when he found a takoyaki shop, he performed his characteristic boastful gag, saying, "My old nickname was Kimura Takoyaki. People talked to me a lot because I was so handsome," turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
Even on the solo trip home, Gangnam's rest stop tour, which combined mukbang and witty talk, was seen as further heightening the holiday atmosphere.<
