Broadcaster Hong Jin Kyung and Single's Inferno's "villain character" Choi Mina-su finally met.
On the 12th, Hong Jin Kyung posted several photos on her social media along with the caption "'Single's Inferno 5' live wrap-up party."
Earlier, the Single's Inferno side said, "On that day at a location in Seoul, regular panelists, production staff and cast members will hold an end-of-season wrap-up party."
Single's Inferno 5 aired its final episode on the 10th, concluding the season. This season produced five couples in total: Kim Min-ji and Song Seung-il; Im Su-bin and Park Hee-seon; Lee Joo-young and Kim Jae-jin; Choi Mina-su and Lee Seong-hoon; and Kim Go-eun and Woo Seong-min.
Among them, the anticipated meeting was between Hong Jin Kyung and Choi Mina-su. Earlier, in episode 8, Hong Jin Kyung had reacted to Choi Mina-su's actions with blunt remarks such as "cannot defend" and "please stop," then later issued a public apology.
In the released photos, Hong Jin Kyung bows her head in attention in front of Choi Mina-su, to whom she had publicly apologized. Choi Mina-su smiled as if to playfully hold Hong Jin Kyung, who had issued the public apology.
Meanwhile, Single's Inferno 5 is a dating reality show set on the remote island "Hell Map", where participants can leave only if they become a couple, and it continued its popularity by ranking No. 2 for three consecutive weeks in Netflix's global top 10 non-English shows.
