Actor Bae In Hyuk is cheerfully leading a "hate-love" romance.
Bae In Hyuk delivered a passionate performance as the protagonist Seon Tae-hyung in the tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama Our Universe (directed by Lee Hyun-seok and Jung Yeo-jin; written by Sujin and Shin Yi-hyun; planned by Studio Dragon; produced by Scene & Studio Co., Ltd.), which aired on the 11th.
Our Universe is a slapstick cohabitation romance in which two in-law adults who get off on the wrong foot end up raising a 20-month-old nephew, "Uju," overnight.
In that episode, Tae-hyung (played by Bae In Hyuk) and Hyun-jin (played by Roh Jeong-Eui) officially began co-parenting. While Hyun-jin was at work, Tae-hyung had to look after Uju (played by Park Yoo-ho), and when Hyun-jin demanded a detailed report of Uju's daily routine, Tae-hyung defiantly showed his own shortcut parenting methods, drawing laughs.
In a cohabitation life with not a quiet day, the boiler broke down, and Tae-hyung revealed a hidden tsundere side beneath his prickliness. Faced with a 1,000,000 won estimate for boiler repair, Tae-hyung went to neighbor Du-sik (played by Kim In-kwon) to ask for help. When Du-sik pressed Tae-hyung about his relationship with Hyun-jin, Tae-hyung playfully replied, "It's a charmingly refreshing situation. While raising a baby and doing our own things," heightening interest.
Meanwhile, worried secretly about Hyun-jin catching a cold because of the boiler breakdown, Tae-hyung visited the shoot of star photographer Amy Chu (played by Jin Seo-yeon) and worked as her daily assistant to earn the boiler repair money. At the end, after finishing a tiring day, Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin clinked glasses, and a scene showing them waking up in the same bed the next day was revealed, signaling the start of a full-fledged romance.
In this way, Bae In Hyuk not only delivers pleasant "charming chemistry" with Roh Jeong-Eui and Park Yoo-ho, but he also continues his strong acting by cheerfully leading an exciting "hate-love" romance.
Bae In Hyuk began with the web movie Love Buzz and appeared in the web dramas Yeonnam-dong kiss scene, XX, showcasing warm visuals and solid acting.
