K-pop stars' festival '2026 the awards' ended its glamorous run as a celebration shared by both fans and artists.
On the 11th, the '2nd the awards (D AWARDS with upick)' hosted by Sports Donga successfully concluded, supporting artists who promoted K-pop and offering abundant spectacles to global music fans.
Those who shone in K-pop over the year received the prestigious 'Years' honor. Artist of the Year ENHYPEN, Album of the Year Stray Kids, Song of the Year BOYNEXTDOOR, Record of the Year RIIZE, Performance of the Year NCT WISH, Trend of the Year TWS, the awards iconic ZEROBASEONE, the awards global P1Harmony each took home honors.
The main award 'the awards delights blue label' went to a total of 13 teams. P1Harmony, ENHYPEN, Fifty Fifty, Psykers, BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, 82MAJOR, QWER, NCT WISH, NexG, IZNA, KickFlip, and Ahob received the honor.
The awards dreams silver label' went to KickFlip, Hearts2Hearts, Close Your Eyes, ALLDAY PROJECT, Ahob, and Cortis. The awards remark', given to rookies who will lead future K-content, went to HiFi Unicorn, AMP, and Choi Lip-woo.
The awards impact' honored Lee Suji, who made Korea laugh over the year with various 'alt' characters, Jeon Yeo-been, the lead of the ENA drama 'Ms. Incognito' which ranked second in the network's all-time ratings, and Ahn Hyo Seop, who rose as a global star attracting worldwide attention through Netflix's K-pop Demon Hunters.
Also, Best Tour' went to ENHYPEN for the world tour 'WALK THE LINE'. Best Recording' was awarded to P1Harmony's album The! (DUH!) and BOYNEXTDOOR's The Action. Best Song' selected NCT WISH's 'poppop' and IZNA's 'SIGN'. NCT WISH was named the first winner of Best Social Contents'.
The Best Stage' category was won by Psykers and NexG. Best Group' included ENHYPEN, BOYNEXTDOOR, NMIXX, and IZNA. ZEROBASEONE won Best Video' for 'ICONIK', and the ZEROBASEONE members Matthew and Geonuk's track 'Backpacker' from the subunit Study Group was awarded Best O.S.T'. Best Choreography' went to Fifty Fifty for 'Pookie'. The ceremony featured a variety of stages prepared solely for the awards. Each team's powerful performances, including premieres, heightened the on-site energy and earned praise from K-pop fans. MCs Lee Jong-won and Shin Ye-eun, and BOYNEXTDOOR's Myung Jae-hyun smoothly led the long running time with steady coordination. Presenters who participated included Kangnam, Kim Dasom, Kim On-ah, Kim Haejun, Na Bo-ram, Moon Yoo-gang, mimiminoo, Park Seoham, Park Ji-yeon, Bae In Hyuk, Song Ah, Ahn Eun-jin, Ahn Hyo Seop, Oh Yeon-seo, You Jae-phil, Lee Suji, Lee Joo-an, Im Soo-hyang, Jeon Yeo-been, Choi Jin-hyuk, and Hong Jong Hyun, who also lit up the night of the awards.
The 2nd the awards', held at Hwajung Gymnasium, Korea University in Seoul, was broadcast live on Channel A Plus at 6 p.m. on the 11th and aired delayed on Channel A at midnight the same day.
