ODDWAVE rookie boy band DAILY:DIRECTION (Daily:Direction, D:D) under ODDWAVE made a strong impression with an intense concept ahead of their debut.
DAILY:DIRECTION (DAILY:DIRECTION, Jang Yun-seok, Im Ji-hwan, Kim Ju-hyung, Lee Won-woo, E-VAN (Evan), EN KIM (En Kim)) on the 11th at 6 p.m. posted on their official SNS account concept photos, both individual and group, for the single album 'FIRST:DELIVERY' (First:Delivery).
The released concept photos captured DAILY:DIRECTION's hip styling and raw mood, grabbing attention. In the individual photos, amid a dark atmosphere reminiscent of a scrapyard, they used tires and cars as props to reveal each member's individuality. In particular, the members emitted raw energy with free poses such as lying on tires or climbing onto vehicles.
In the group photos, the members split into groups of three, showing relaxed gestures against a backdrop of blue-toned vehicles that conveyed local sensibility, while using a bright red bus to create a different atmosphere. DAILY:DIRECTION showed natural chemistry amid strong color contrasts, raising expectations for their debut.
The team name Daily:Direction (DAILY:DIRECTION) contains the meaning that "daily choices accumulate to form each person's direction." Rather than following a set correct answer, they position the story of making their own path through trial and error and the process of choices as the team's core narrative.
ODDWAVE was founded as a new creative production centered on creative director Park So-hee, CCO, who participated in major K-pop projects including aespa, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids and ZEROBASEONE, and will present a new K-pop creative vision through its first debut group, DAILY:DIRECTION.
Meanwhile, DAILY:DIRECTION will release the single album 'FIRST:DELIVERY' at 6 p.m. on the 23rd and will hold a fan showcase at YES24 Wonderrock Hall at 8 p.m. the same day.
