SBS's new drama "Seungsan is possible" brings together award-winning actor Lee Je-hoon and rising star Ha-young.
SBS's new drama "Seungsan is possible" (directed by Kwon Da-som / written by Jung Jin-young, Kim Eui-chan / produced by Studio S, Artist Studio) is a cheerful comedic legal detective story in which a ragtag law office led by former lawyer and current office manager Kwon Baek uses unprecedented methods to turn hopeless fights into winnable ones. "Seungsan is possible," which aims to air in 2027, raises expectations for the birth of a new legend with director Kwon Da-som, who co-directed the dramas Connection and My Demon, and writers Jung Jin-young and Kim Eui-chan, who co-wrote the sitcom classics considered legends in Korea—Sunpung Obstetrics and Gynecology, They Can't Be Stopped Easily, and Three Men, Three Women.
Among them, casting Lee Je-hoon and Ha-young as the leads raises expectations even higher. Lee Je-hoon, who claimed his second acting grand prize through last year's drama Taxi Driver and made 2025 his year, and Ha-young, who rose to become an actor the whole world is watching through the drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on call, unite, promising a powerful synergy.
Lee Je-hoon will play Kwon Baek, a former star lawyer and the current office manager of the law office Seungsan, marking his first portrayal of a legal professional since his debut. After being stripped of his lawyer license over a bribery scandal and suddenly disappearing, Kwon Baek makes a splashy comeback as the office manager of a shabby law office formed with a motley crew. Having tasted both success and failure and acquired composure, Kwon Baek sets traps to uncover the truth, stages spectacles, and causes a stir as a more capable and more entertaining eccentric office manager than he was as a lawyer.
Ha-young plays Yeo Sim-hee, a rookie lawyer with no money or connections but unmatched diligence, and gives a passionate performance. Yeo Sim-hee becomes the chief attorney at the law office Seungsan after accepting a recruitment offer from her one and only role model, Kwon Baek, unaware that he fell from grace over a bribery scandal. Disappointed by the ruined image of her role model, Yeo Sim-hee's heart swells when she sees that the eccentric office manager she thought did nothing and spent his time idly is actually planning several moves ahead, and under Kwon Baek's guidance she grows into a respectable lawyer.
Meanwhile, Lee Je-hoon and Ha-young will not only deliver compelling character play based on outstanding acting ability but also deepen the show by portraying the relationship between their two characters in three dimensions. In particular, the bickering relationship between the office manager and the lawyer, the close mentor-mentee relationship, and their dynamic that crosses into a partnership that heals each other's wounds will maximize their chemistry. Expectations are already rising for the meeting of Lee Je-hoon and Ha-young, which heralds the birth of a "winning combination."
