'Actress Choi Jung-yoon announced her remarriage and revealed wedding photos, marking the second act of her life.
On the 12th, a video titled 'I debated a lot about whether to tell you' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Two jobs-running Choi Jung-yoon.'
That day Choi Jung-yoon confessed, "A new family member has been born." He laughed and said, "On my daughter Ji-woo's birthday I was overwhelmed and wrote a post on social media, but even though I mentioned the new family at the end, no one noticed."
Behind the decision to reveal the remarriage was the burden of the 'single mom frame.' Choi Jung-yoon said, "When variety show invitations came, most concepts had me alone or with my child," and added, "Each time I had to explain, 'I'm not single anymore,' and the producers were surprised." She went on, "I wanted to change this frame now. I feel much more at ease."
In particular, the video also showed wedding photos of the three family members together. The husband's solid back walking while holding their daughter's hand created a warm feeling. Choi Jung-yoon smiled brightly and said, "I love seeing the two of them from behind."
She also explained why they did a wedding shoot instead of a ceremony. She said, "My husband and I did not want to hold a wedding ceremony. But Ji-woo kept asking for a wedding. Meanwhile, Choi Jung-yoon married Yoon Tae-joon in 2011 and had a daughter, but after three years of separation they divorced in October 2022. She is currently raising her daughter and announced a new start with her new family.
