Actor Ji So-yeon had an eventful day.
On the 11th Ji So-yeon posted on her personal SNS, "I'm leaving today. My husband said we can think about whether to retake the esthetician license after I get back, so I'm gratefully leaving without my family," and uploaded a photo while heading to the airport.
At that time Ji So-yeon's travel mate was Yang Mi-ra. The two posted a video of themselves dancing excitedly at the airport and added, "I didn't show this side to my husband, but I was very happy."
But the cheerful mood lasted only a short time, as Ji So-yeon's major mistake was revealed. Ji So-yeon had packed her daughter Ha-el's passport, not her own, and went to the airport. Yang Mi-ra was flustered, saying, "What is this??? Why did Ha-el bring the passport??" Ji So-yeon also added, "We're checking in and guess what… Ha-el's passport. There's really not much time left until the flight."
With a bewildered-looking Ji So-yeon caught on video, she said, "I travel a lot and had packed my passport a few days ago. This could only happen if someone swapped them, right??" and added, "They'll be closing soon. There's no next flight…" She especially said, "I'm trying to act casual while waiting for a courier... will we be able to go?"
Within the required time a courier arrived and Ji So-yeon was able to proceed with departure procedures. Meanwhile, footage showing her leaving her cellphone at the check-in counter and walking away surfaced, helping to explain how chaotic Ji So-yeon's situation was.
Ji So-yeon summarized the day, saying, "Today has been quite long. It feels like only five hours have passed, but so much happened it feels like two days," and continued, "The passport I had packed days ago turned out to be my daughter's passport; with five minutes left until the final check-in time the passport miraculously arrived. I thought it was such a relief and went to check in, but my cellphone disappeared. I ran back to find my phone. As I was about to board the plane, they called only my name (a name tag had fallen off my carry-on; I was so shocked)."
Eventually arriving at the destination, Ji So-yeon added, "I've really arrived here. Because I was so eager to come, this place looks even more beautiful. This is a quiet city #Takamatsu. Kyaa now enjoy."
Meanwhile, Ji So-yeon married actor Song Jae-hee in 2017, overcame infertility and welcomed her first daughter Ha-el in 2023. Later, after undergoing in vitro fertilization and announcing a twin pregnancy, she gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, Doha and Reha, last September, becoming the mother of three children.
