Actress Jeon Won-ju candidly recounted that she once lent 50 million won to a former lover and never got it back.
On the 10th, a video titled "Basic conditions of North Korea's pleasure squad" was posted on the YouTube channel "Jeon Won-ju protagonist." In the video, Jeon Won-ju met with North Korean defector YouTuber Han Song-yi and talked about romance and life.
That day Han Song-yi asked, "Teacher, I heard a man extorted money from you — what happened?" Jeon Won-ju laughed and replied, "At that time, because I was in love I wanted to give everything."
She continued, "When I leaned on his arm he granted all my wishes," and said, "There was land that was cheap but he said he lacked money, so I told him 'don't worry' and gave it to him."
In particular, Jeon Won-ju added, "That's how men lean on me. You have to spend money for them to lean on you," which sent the studio into laughter.
She also mentioned an episode in which she lent 50 million won to a man she met through a hiking club and never got it back. Jeon Won-ju recalled bitterly, "He was so handsome that I lent money for the first time in my life. He approached me calling 'noona,' but it turned out it was because of money." She went on to advise, "You should be most careful with men who talk a lot. A naive man shows himself through his actions."
That day Jeon Won-ju also did not hide her affection for younger men. She confessed, "When I meet a younger man I come alive," and said, "In front of a younger man I change clothes a dozen times a day." She also revealed, "When we had no money and dated in the mountains, I once leaned in first and the man was so surprised he ran away," causing bursts of laughter.
Meanwhile, Jeon Won-ju is known as a leading asset holder in the entertainment industry, reportedly owning 3 billion won in stocks and 1 billion won in gold. She remarried in 1969 after the death of her first husband, and her second husband also passed away in 2013. Recently she drew attention by revealing she is dating a man six years younger.
