A special SBS Lunar New Year concert, "Sung Si Kyung: Lunar New Year special concert," which summarizes singer Sung Si Kyung's 25-year musical career, will air on the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, the 14th (Sat) at 8:30 p.m.
"Sung Si Kyung: Lunar New Year special concert" is the TV version of "Concert Sung Si Kyung," which was sold out from Dec. 25 to 28 last year, and is the unique concert that follows Sung Si Kyung's music timeline as he celebrates his 25th anniversary since debut.
Hit songs that represented Sung Si Kyung, from the hit "Like the First Time" included on his first album to "We Go Pretty Well Together," "It Would Be Good," "On the Street," "Goodbye My Love," "Every Moment of You," and "Heejae," will adorn the TV program. At this event, Sung Si Kyung will also present the stage for "Solar System," one of the songs he cherishes most. Sung Si Kyung introduced "Solar System" by saying, "Composer Kang Seung Won hyung used to sing this song at drinking gatherings and I said I wanted to sing it. It's a song that depicts a presence on the street that is painfully visible every night, someone you can never get close to forever, and it doesn't feel like a modern song," drawing attention.
Meanwhile, this broadcast will unveil for the first time a shocking duet stage between Sung Si Kyung and special guest Mamamoo's Hwasa. Chosen as Hwasa's partner, Sung Si Kyung will join Hwasa on the stage of her hit song "Good Goodbye" and perform a duet dance that will surprise everyone.
SBS's "Sung Si Kyung: Lunar New Year special concert," which can be seen only on the TV live broadcast without reruns or OTT release, is scheduled to air on Saturday the 14th at 8:30 p.m.
