'In Your Radiant Season' released a third teaser video showing the transformation of Lee Sung-kyoung, who had been frozen in place.
The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season, scheduled to premiere on the 20th (planned by Namgung Seong-woo, written by Jo Seong-hee, directed by Jeong Sang-hee and Kim Young-jae), is a work that depicts an unpredictable "Challan" romance in which the man, Chan, who lives every day like an exciting summer vacation, and the woman, Ran, who has trapped herself in winter, meet as if by fate and awaken the frozen time.
The third teaser video, released today (the 11th), begins with Song Ha-ran (Lee Sung-kyoung) asking, "If you could time slip, when would you most want to go back to?" In the scene where Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop) calmly replies, "I don't have one. A past I want to go back to," viewers are led to infer that there is a story he cannot readily reveal to Ha-ran.
A change is also detected in Song Ha-ran's gaze as she looks at animator Sunwoo Chan, who joined the project. Ha-ran begins to open her heart little by little to Chan's habit of approaching strangers without hesitation. While warning, "He is really a strange person," and "What is he, a capybara or something," Ha-ran unintentionally shows a budding interest in Chan and reveals a small crack in her previously frozen heart.
Meanwhile, Kim Na-na (Lee Mi-Sook), who has cherished her eldest granddaughter Song Ha-ran more than anyone else, cautiously presses, "Exactly what is your relationship?" about Sunwoo Chan, and the second granddaughter Song Ha-young (Han Ji-hyun), watching this, immediately labels the subtle atmosphere between the two as a "some" and draws laughter.
At the same time, Kim Na-na, who had always been unable to relax because of her worries for her granddaughters, also shows a subtle change after reuniting with Park Man-jae (Kang Sukwoo). At the end of the video, Kim Na-na's meaningful remark, "Now you won't need me anymore," hints at another backstory and draws viewers' attention.
