DSP Media Co. released the movie "Turn: The Street" special track 1 and Yuki's new song "No Rules" at 6 p.m. today (the 11th) on various music platforms.
"Turn: The Street" is a dance film depicting the growth of passionate young people obsessed with dance, and this track "No Rules" is a special track presented by Yuki, formerly of the idol group PURPLE KISS, as a solo artist.
"No Rules" is, as the title suggests, a declaration of "I will walk my own path without limits." Over an 808 bass-driven beat, Yuki freely moves between singing and rapping to deliver a hybrid performance completely different from her previous image. Especially in lyrics like "in the mirror me, another queen" and "I'm the real me, no maybe," the message of rejecting all frames that define oneself and revealing the true self is strongly expressed
The composition, which naturally switches between Korean and English, reveals Yuki's identity as an artist of Japanese nationality and her global sensibility, organically combining the rhythmic characteristics of J-rap, the sensibility of K-hip hop and the lyricism of pop vocals.
Davve handled all lyrics, composition and arrangement, and structured the overall production around the artist, including drums, bass and synth programming, maximizing Yuki's performance energy
Meanwhile, Yuki's "No Rules" is available to listen to on all music platforms, including Melon, Jini and Bugs, from 6 p.m. today (the 11th).<
