"Show Me the Money 12" rapper Kim Gi-pyo (KIMKIPYØ) is joining hands with AOMG to embark on a full-scale music career.
Global label AOMG officially announced the signing of an exclusive contract with Kim Gi-pyo on its official social media on the 10th and said, "Kim Gi-pyo is an artist who showcased sensible and charming-toned rapping on the rap survival program 'Rap:Public' and recently on 'Show Me the Money 12', and AOMG will spare no support for all of the artist's future activities."
AOMG, which has been promoting the AOMG 2.0 rebranding project 'Make It New' since last year, said, "Please show much anticipation, interest and support for Kim Gi-pyo's activities, which will express various musical colors together with the newly moving AOMG."
Born in 2006, newcomer Kim Gi-pyo is the new contender of the 'Make It New' rebranding project and begins his full-scale activities as a hip-hop artist. Even before his official debut, Kim Gi-pyo, who has been gradually building his presence in the hip-hop scene with rookie-defying ability and individuality, is attracting attention for what kind of output he will present at AOMG.
Based on outstanding rap skills and an attractive tone, Kim Gi-pyo has stood out in various hip-hop survival programs. He finished as runner-up in the 2024 rap battle content 'Rap Cup', and in the same year he played a starring role as a dark horse who shook up the competition on the Tving show 'Rap:Public (RAP:PUBLIC)'. Currently participating as a contestant on cable channel Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 12', he continued his challenge and once again proved his excellent skills by receiving all passes from the judges in the previous '60-second rap mission.'
AOMG is expanding its reach as a global label and brand by extending into hip-hop and the pop music world, sports and entertainment through sensuous music and content. It houses artists from various fields such as Yugyeom, Jung Chan-sung, Kian84, Lee Mi-joo, and the mixed-gender hip-hop group SIKKOO, 200·Yoshi·Gu Min-jae. It also announced last year the launch of its first girl crew since its founding, and by newly recruiting Kim Gi-pyo it is actively advancing the 2.0 rebranding project.
