Orbit, a science communicator, appears on MBC's 'Radio Star' and recounts his experience of attempting to contact(?) G-Dragon (GD), a special-appointed professor at KAIST, to discuss the advancement of science and technology. His over-the-top talk, which makes no distinction of place or format if he can talk about science, fills the studio with laughter.
Today (11th) the broadcast 'Radio Star' (planned by Chey Yoon-chung / directed by Yoon Hye-jin, Hwang Yoon-sang, Byun Da-hee) is presented as a 'Too Much TALK GPT' special featuring Lee Dong-jin, An Hyun-mo, Orbit, and Nucksal.
After his previous 'Radio Star' appearance, Orbit mentions fans' reactions mixed with reproach, drawing laughter. He said that because there were five cast members, his talk share was only about 20%, and he relays fans' worried reactions for the over-talkative Orbit, provoking laughter from the start.
Orbit then said, "If I can talk about science, I go anywhere," and revealed the story of how, after appearing on 'Radio Star' and hearing MC Kim Gu Ra's remarks, he ended up appearing on 'King of Mask Singer.' He expressed pride that by singing himself he was able to talk about science for 20 minutes, once again showing his overenthusiastic tendency.
Orbit, a special-appointed professor at DGIST, also recounts the story of accidentally meeting G-Dragon, who is active as a special-appointed professor at KAIST. He said he invited G-Dragon to a gathering with Lee Sedol and Lee Ji-young, who are special-appointed professors at the country's four science and technology institutes, to talk about scientific advancement, raising curiosity about the result.
'Legacy media' talk is not left out. He recalls the frustrating experience of being cut off in traditional broadcasting settings because his explanations got too long when he started talking about science and vents his frustration about the legacy media frame, with his characteristic overlong explanations continuing and Orbit's effort to adapt prompting uproarious laughter.
Added to this is Orbit's remark that even actor Park Jeongmin's popularity can be explained scientifically, and the talk that interprets everything from a scientific perspective continues, adding more laughter.
Orbit's performance, born of a relentless love for science and an unstoppable instinct to explain, can be seen on 'Radio Star,' airing tonight (11th) Wednesday at 10:30 p.m.
