Netflix original variety show 'Single's Inferno 5' concluded on Feb. 10. As the production team said, "It was a season that reminded us once again that 'honesty' is the greatest weapon," the singles' boundary-crossing flirting war, which was more candid and unrestrained than any other season, led viewers to dopamine hell and excitement heaven until the end. According to the Netflix Top 10 website on Feb. 11, 'Single's Inferno 5' recorded 3.1 million views (view count divided by the show's total running time / on Feb. 2–Feb. 8) and 45.10 million viewing hours, ranking No. 2 for three consecutive weeks in the global top 10 non-English shows category. In addition, after ranking No. 1 in Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, it appeared on the top 10 lists in 18 countries, including Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines, once again stirring viewers around the world and proving its presence with the best performance in the show's history.
At the heart of 'Single's Inferno 5' popularity were the 15 singles who revealed raw emotions without concealment and delivered the pleasure of a romance reality more dramatic than a movie. Kim Go-eun said, "I was able to face myself for the first time in front of someone I like. From now on, I want to grow into someone who can be more proactive and express warmth."
