On Dec. 3 of last year, during the process in which Park Na-rae's former managers exposed allegations of power abuse, the existence of person A came to light. Person A was identified as the 'injection aunt,' a key figure accused in the alleged illegal medical procedures on comedian Park Na-rae, and is facing charges including violations of the Medical Service Act and the Narcotics Control Act on suspicion of performing medical procedures on entertainers without a domestic medical license.
The so-called 'injection aunt' gate turned the entertainment industry into a wreck. First, those associated with Park Na-rae were swept up in allegations of involvement with the injection aunt. Jung Jae-hyung, SHINee's Onew, Key, Jun Hyun-moo, Ipjjalpeun Haetnim, Hong Jin-young, and Shin Joo-ah were among those caught up in the allegations. Among them, Key and Ipjjalpeun Haetnim apologized and suspended activities.
As the injection aunt gate devastated the entertainment industry, Jun Hyun-moo was not exempt. In 2016 a scene in which Jun Hyun-moo received an IV in a car, aired on I Live Alone, was captured and caused controversy, and he drew a line, saying it was "part of the process of completing treatment while moving under a doctor's judgment because there was not enough time even for the filming schedule, and that part was exposed on the broadcast."
In particular, Jun Hyun-moo released copies of medical records from nine years ago. The IV was part of the medical act to assist treatment," and "At the time, Jun Hyun-moo's medical treatment was a lawful extension of medical acts performed at a medical institution under the judgment of medical staff."
The medical records contained sensitive details to reveal, such as the fact that he was prescribed the erectile dysfunction treatment Embis 100. Interpreters said that by setting aside male pride and focusing on asserting his innocence, Jun Hyun-moo took the drastic step to completely distance himself from the 'injection aunt gate,' and this matter was even used as material on variety programs on which Jun Hyun-moo appears.
