'4th-generation girl group powerhouse' LE SSERAFIM (LE SSERAFIM) once again set a meaningful record on Japan's Oricon chart.
On the 10th, according to Japan's Oricon chart, LE SSERAFIM's single album 'SPAGHETTI' ranked No. 1 on the 'weekly single ranking' (tracking period: Feb. 2–8). It proved its strong staying power by maintaining steady popularity even three months after its release in October last year. In particular, it is even more significant because it has been a full three years since a foreign female artist topped that chart.
It is also noteworthy that LE SSERAFIM broke a record they themselves had set. They topped that chart with their Japanese debut single 'FEARLESS' in 2023. At the time, it had been about five years and three months since a foreign female artist achieved No. 1 with a debut release. Afterwards, with 'SPAGHETTI' they again achieved an unusual result, solidifying their unique position in the Japanese music market.
The group's remarkable achievement was greatly influenced by their first world tour. As part of the tour in November last year, they entered Tokyo Dome for the first time. They drew 80,000 spectators over two days, and the five members' spectacular performances received high acclaim. Then on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 'LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' ENCORE IN SEOUL' was broadcast live worldwide through the global superfans platform Weverse. Fans from 57 countries/regions, including Japan, watched in real time, showing strong interest. The impressive stages shown at the concerts helped sustain the song's ongoing popularity and also led to No. 1 on Oricon's 'daily single ranking' (Feb. 2).
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will appear on the stage of Japan's largest music festival 'Summer Sonic 2026' (SUMMER SONIC 2026), held for three days from Aug. 14 to 16. They will make their first appearance at an event featuring many world-renowned musicians and present powerful performances in the two cities of Tokyo and Osaka.
