Paik Jong-won, entrepreneur and broadcaster and chief executive officer of The Born Korea, lost his mother.
On the 10th, The Born Korea said that Paik Jong-won's mother and actress So Yu-jin's mother-in-law, Lee Kyung-sook, passed away that day. She was 86.
The wake will be set up at 10 a.m. on the 11th in room 31 of the funeral hall at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. The funeral procession will be at 8 a.m. on the 13th, and the burial site is Seogeyang-ri, Sinyang-myeon, Yesan-gun, South Chungcheong.
Paik Jong-won once expressed his deep feelings for his mother on his YouTube channel. He said, "(When I said I would go into business) my grandmother and grandfather disliked it. Because of this, my mother was scolded a lot by my grandmother," and added, "I am grateful to and sorry for my mother."
Meanwhile, Paik Jong-won married actress So Yu-jin in 2013, and they have one son and two daughters.
